Summer 2008 Service Changes |
The UCSC Spring quarter ends June 12, 2008. All school term ("ST") service will operate through this date, and Night Owl service will operate through June 11, 2008. Service will resume in the fall, beginning September 25, 2008.San Lorenzo Valley School-Term Service:
The SLV school year ends June 12, 2008. This will be a half-day and service will be adjusted, contact Customer Service at 425-8600 for more information. All school term ("ST") trips of the Routes 33, 34 and 35 will not operate between June 13 and August 22, 2008. Service will resume August 25, 2008.Cabrillo School-Term Service:
The Cabrillo school year ends June 6, 2008. All trips of the school term Route 70 will not operate between June 9 and August 29, 2008. Service will resume September 2, 2008.Regular Service:
The Route 19 weekend service has been revised for summer traffic conditions. Departures have been moved to :50 after-the-hour. The time point at Cliff & Beach and the Beach Hill loop will be served only twice in the morning, and twice in the evening. The Beach & Pacific stop will not be served at all during the summer.
The Route 68 weekend service has been revised for summer traffic conditions. While the timetable has not changed, this route will serve Broadway between Front Street and Seabright Avenue, no longer serving lower Ocean Street and San Lorenzo Blvd. Weekday service remains unchanged. During the Summer Service, the last trip of Route 71 at 11:45PM from Santa Cruz to Watsonville will go into service 10 minutes earlier at 11:35PM from Cliff & Beach at the Boardwalk, and then depart from Metro Center at 11:45PM as scheduled.Route 91X - Commuter Express Santa Cruz/Watsonville
The Route 91X will now serve the new Watsonville Civic Plaza (located on Second Street) both inbound and outbound. This route will now use Main Street rather than Rodriguez Street to and from the Watsonville Transit Center and will use the stops on Main at Rodriguez instead of the stops on Rodriguez at Main.Route 88 - Armory Shuttle
This route does not run in the summer.
