Line 71/Rapid Corridors Project

METRO is working with the community to identify solutions aimed at making travel by bus faster, more reliable, and easier to access between the cities of Watsonville and Santa Cruz. This study, funded through a Caltrans Sustainable Transportation Planning grant, will identify opportunities to improve METRO’s customer experience through improved travel times, better pedestrian and bicyclist access to bus stops and upgraded bus stop amenities.

Project Objectives

  • Develop strategies and solutions for improving transit service and access.
  • Engage community members to understand needs and opportunities.
