Due to a planned protest on Saturday, October 19, 2025, METRO routes in Downtown Santa Cruz and Watsonville may experience detours and delays. Please plan extra travel time and track your bus in real time using the Transit App.

Route 3A – Capitola Mall/Live Oak via East Cliff

ROUTE CHANGE SCHEDULE CHANGE

Weekdays: Trips departing River Front Transit Center or Capitola Mall before 5:00pm will serve Soquel Ave past Harbor High School and 7th Ave between Soquel Ave and Capitola Rd. After 5:00pm, the route will run as it did during the Summer schedule, taking Capitola Rd between 7th Ave and Soquel Ave.

Weekends: All trips will run on Capitola Rd between 7th Ave and Soquel Ave.
