Independence Day Holiday

Holiday Service Reminder: Independence Day, Friday, July 4, 2025, local METRO service and ParaCruz will not operate. Highway 17 Express will run on a weekend schedule. Customer Service will be closed.

Summer Service Change eff. 6/19!

Route 40 Summer Service (eff. 6/19/25): An additional WEEKEND trip will depart River Front Transit Center at 5:15pm.

Detour 6/4-6/6

Starting Wednesday, June 4, through Friday, June 6, Route 20 & 40 will be on detour due to construction on Natural Bridges Drive. Route 20 will detour via Highway 1 and Swift to Delaware in both directions, while Route 40 will detour via Mission Street, serving a temporary stop at Western & Mission. The detour will be in effect on Wednesday from 10 AM to 4 PM, Thursday from 7 AM to 7 PM, and Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. For real-time tracking, visit https://rt.scmetro.org.

Route 40 – Highway 1 – Davenport 

ROUTE CHANGE   SCHEDULE CHANGE

Weekdays/Weekends: Toward Davenport, the route will continue to operate on the “detour” route started in Fall 2024: from Mission St to Swift St to Delaware Ave to Natural Bridges Dr, then back to Hwy 1. Highway 1 & Western Ave (Stop ID 2095) has been discontinued; the nearest outbound stop is Natural Bridges Dr & Mission (Stop ID 2716).

Weekdays: The 8:00am departure from River Front Transit Center will leave ten minutes earlier at 7:50am, the 12:55pm departure will leave an hour and ten minutes later at 2:05pm, and the 4:55pm departure will leave 25 minutes later at 5:20pm.
